Interesting- TV shouldn't be a problem here as the time difference isn't that great.

I think they are 3-4 hours in front. So if they fought at 11PM over there it would start at 7-8 Pm here which would be great.

Can't see this fight happening anywhere but the USA though.

Depends what sort of money is on offer in Dubai, there's not that much money in the States for the fight that it would make it difficult to be held elsewhere, though of course we've heard rumours for years of a big event in Dubai which hasn't materialised yet

Does anybody remember not so long ago Shannon Briggs was supposed to fight in Dubai or Saudi Arabia or somewhere for like $10 million? He was given a Bentley as gift by one of the princes etc. Anyone know what happened there?

Fight cards in Dubai are always being rumoured, so I'm not too hopeful for this. Everything from Pacquiao/Mayweather to Tyson/Holyfield III has supposed to take place over there after being funded by a billionaire, yet nothing seems to ever come of it. Just thinking about it, what happened to the story about a British promoter who was supposedly putting a card together for a show over there? I read about that about a month or so ago, I guess, and I don't think it's happening.

  10. Yeah that card was meant to have everyone from elite level down to Colin lynes,Matthew hatton and some bizarre exhibitions ribbick bowe and some 80s heavys maybe
Can't remember the promoter wasn't johnny eames involved

Don't know whether I made that up

But the point is.it probaly won't happen
Won't golden boy want in America where it will probaly do well

if you know anything about that place you'd be familiar with how badly indian/****stani/bengali people are treated down there, khan being a muslim and fighting in dubai won't favor him as much as you think it will.

Only a matter of time before the oil rich Arab nations start throwing money at boxing.

    It will happen eventually
