Not true. Froch was mandatory but Hennessey couldn't get the fight made , then Joe dropped his belt. He wanted no part of the Cobra.

i didn't take too much notice back when it was happening because i saw it as a crazy no go. Hennesy was just deluded in the extreme. it made no sense for the champ to fight an unknown British champ. none.

Calzaghe wouldn't have got any credit for it. he would have been slagged for taking such a fight over the Light heavy champ, Hopkins. surely you can see that?

actually, you don't see it. that's the problem with you. :patsch

Is it possible could stop Froch? Yes. Now we have seen Froch down against Taylor and buzzed from Kessler shots. If Ward can maintain a sustained output of accurate punches he may be able to do it.

I think Froch has a good chin but not Granite.

Furthermore, what improvements has he made? He beat Bute and Kessler OK but I didn't see anything new in his game. He might have made adjustments in the Kessler rematch but skill wise be is still the same.

And Froch will just be happy with a payday? By that logic there's a good chance that Froch could stop Ward.

Enough with the contradicting yourself Irish. Now it's got to that you actually respect Froch, but Ward is just better?
You've slaughtered him all week and I note that you chose to ignore my irrefutable reply to your query on why Froch is respected whilst Khan isn't.
I'd also ask you to bear in mind that being a full blooded Irishman, you'll appreciate that given my heritage, a certain harmless term used on here to describe posters from Britain actually carried the same sort of weight and offence as a certain horrible word to describe African American posters when used to describe people who had emigrated to the UK from our motherland,so my support of Froch is not based on some sort of flag waving blind nationalism.
Not saying you're saying anything different.Just asking that you bear it in mind.

Do you feel he's made any improvements from the time he fought Taylor and Dirrell?
And for the millionth time, we 're not claiming he's better than Ward, but do you honestly believe he learned nothing from the Ward fight?
