He did his part (appearences at the NCAA Final Four and more). He can't help that no-one knows the Ghost. But as usual...it's Mayweather fault right?

3 months not enough time to build it to be the biggest ppv ever in my opinion

they may have taken the eye off the ball a little bit and been a bit too confident in thinking they didn't have to sell The Ghost fight because itd sell itself, what with it being a big comeback after prison and everything. They will more than make up for it vs Canelo

The only fight that could have done that was PAC vs Floyd. And y'all say why didn't PAC take the 40mills:lol::nut:patsch.

It would really surprise me if it broke the record of the Mayweather-ODLH fight

The only U.S. boxer to receive a gold medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics, De La Hoya (39-6, 30 KOs) thinks this marquee bout could generate more buys than the 2.5 million his match with Mayweather did.
"I've never been concerned about any fight breaking my record, except for this one," said De La Hoya, who lost the WBC light middleweight crown to Mayweather by a split decision in May 2007. "Now, I'm concerned. It's a double-edged sword, because I'm still going to be involved in breaking a record, only this time, it's going to be from outside of the ring."

Don't be butthurt little ***** no one is blaming Floyd here.

You and your ilk have been duped into believing Floyd is such a draw that he will do 1Mill PPVs against anyone.

It's why he had to take the Canelo fight.:deal

This! I've been saying the same thing to the *****s. If the Guerrero fight hadn't sucked ass, Floyd wouldn't be fighting Canelo, or he would drain Canelo down to 147-150 without any negotiation. Floyd doesn't have the legendary fanbase the *****s have been claiming. He's no draw, and if he didn't do this fight, his numbers would've been dropping and dropping.

Canelo should've waited for Floyd to get desperate so he wouldn't have had to agree to any sort of catchweight.

What does it matter? The fight's happening. Not at 147 or 150. Canelo might blow off 152 as well and then it'll all be irrelevant anyway.

    Doubt it tops DLH-May.

Canelo is nowhere near as popular in the States as Oscar was, at least not yet.

He's apparently betting $5.9 million on the Miami Heat to win and cover -7 tonight.
