The Barrera fight is what propelled him into all the big fights he got. He beat a Barrera coming off the Morales and Hamed victories. It was pretty big.

Barrera may be his biggest win, but his best performance for me came against Cotto.

yes its already been mentioned. But outside a couple of heavy tards like anglosaxon, everyone who was ok with pac doing catchweights will be ok with this as well.

The stick is for floyd and his fans who have ridiculed catchweights for the asft few years and have now done 180's

This right here. KO'ing Barrera was the biggest win by a landslide, and it was at that point I knew he had power unlike anything ever witnessed for that weight class. Was a great time being a boxing fan back then, the 126/130 was pure gold.

And by KO. I remember just being stunned at the way he took Barrera out. And then to follow that up with Marquez 1, you knew everyone in that division was shitting their pants.

Nah. Cotto hasn't been the same since being beat up by bricks.

Pac's best win is still Barrera. That was when Pac was still natural.

This, that Cotto win has to be one of the most overrated wins ever. Cotto was already damaged goods, and was training with fking Santiago that didn't have any experience as a pro trainer.

Followed by Morales with only a tuneup against 3K...PAC vs the 3Mex back2back was a G.

Cotto was damage good ...it's funny how he suddenly became unshot and rejuvenated once Floyd fought him:lol::patsch.

But arguably lost. (I have it at top 5 still tho).

Barrera on the other hand was such a blowout.
You can clearly see what would make Pac a great champion in the years to come in that fight: great and solid left, a developing right hook, a stinging right jab, excellent hand and foot speed, f*cking granite chin, and the heart of a lion.

It was almost like... He was Mexican, minus the finesse plus the usual brawling style of Filipinos.
