I'll be perfectly honest with you people.

Before the Barrera win, I never once thought he'd have what it takes to exchange artillery with those elite Mexicans at 126.

During the Barrera fight, especially the "knockdown" in the first, I nearly **** on my pants.

    from Ringtv.com

doug fischer's reply from his mailbag:

"....Weight was an issue in this fight, even though Mayweather has twice fought at junior middleweight (vs. Oscar De La Hoya and Cotto) and currently holds the WBA’s “super” 154-pound title. In a very clear way, Mayweather is paying Canelo the ultimate compliment by having their fight contested two pounds under the junior middleweight limit. He’s basically telling the boxing world that he views Canleo as more of a threat than the two future first-ballot hall of famers.

Yes, Mayweather is flip-flopping his so-called stance against catchweights that he used to promote last year’s Cotto fight (and to take digs at Manny Pacquiao). That shouldn’t come as a surprise to fans. He fought Juan Manuel Marquez at a contracted 144 pounds at a time when the Mexican veteran had never fought above 135 pounds – and then he came in at 146.

However, something that Mayweather’s very vocal and extremely sensitive fans fail to grasp is that it’s not the catchweight that most fans are criticizing; it’s the hypocrisy."

It's his third best behind his two wins over Barrera. It say a whole lot about the overrated career of Manny Pacquiao.

Im going to put to the idiot Fans that dont know **** about Boxing.

The Barrera win in 2003 is landslide above anything Floyd has.........

This is mostly by Boxing Experts and writers that feel these are there best wins.

    Pacquiao

    1. Barrera 2003
    2. Cotto 2009
    3. Hatton 2009
    4. Marquez 2008
    5. Dela Hoya 2008
    6. Morales 2006

    Mayweather
    1. Corrales 2001
    2. Castillo 2002
    3. Dela Hoya 2007
    4. Hatton 2007
    5. Cotto 2012
    6. Mosley 2010

There is only one problem with people arguing about Pac the Barrera fight far outweighs anything on Mayweather's career.

Why people may ask as its this simple.

Barrera was more Prime and higher P4P than any other on Floyds list.

And the fact he just came off beating Prince Haseem and the fact that after the Pacquiao Loss he reeled off 6 wins against World class fighters.

Some of the Floyd fans may argue that Floyd beat Marquez but for me that fight was a Farce. and Marguez could have said no to Floyd coming in over weight.

Everyone else they have fought Pac not only beat them better but did anyone watch the difference between the two and using Cotto is a great example.

Floyds a Great fighter better technically than Pac but Pac's resume shits on Floyds.

i too believe beating mab was his biggest win but it seems like his win over sasakul is being underrated.

street vendor or whatever on weekdays, fighter on weekends, at age 19 flew to thailand and beat a lineal champ....that's an amazing win.

I think another thing to consider is that manny was the favorite headed into the cotto fight. Against Barrera he was a clear underdog.

Yup, Cotto is definitely well up there.
Pacquiao was a small guy and technically should not have even beaten Hatton.
Barrera 1 was definitely the best win.

His first lineal title fight with Sasakul should be in the top 5, IMO. Also add there the Ledwaba fight, taking all those 7 fights as a whole (this 2 plus those on Boppazoo's list), it massively overshadows Floyd's career.

Morales and Oscar are definitely not his top 5 biggest wins.
Oscar was dead, Morales was very past prime and shot.
