From what I've seen of John Ryder, he seems like a very good prospect. Billy Joe seemed to struggle in the last fight against the journeyman. John Ryder definitely seems to be the better out of the two, in my opinion, but what are your thoughts of them both?

Isn't Billy fighting O'Sullivan now? But anyway I think its a difficult fight to call, I think it would have been an exciting fight and I was really looking forward to it. John has got a decent jab, a sneaky straight left and sound head movement but I personally don't know anything about his stamina or chin as of yet. Ryder was very impressive in the O'Kane fight where he gradually ground him down, so maybe he could do that to Saunders?? and we saw how Blackwell gave Saunders plenty of problems.

something reeks about Ryder-Saunders not happening, especially after what happened on the recalled purse bids.

Ryder is a very good prospect but people are getting a little carried away imo. Billy Joe beats him in a fairly close fight if it were to happen now.

  7. lets see how saunders does against o'sullivan as it should be his hardest test so far

Everybody saw it coming though, this bollocks with Queensbury promotions winning it is a charade.

    BJS will stay protected.

in that case Saunders needs to be stripped of his title.

I personally believe he is being lined up for a mandatory shot with winner of Bayzangurov & Andrade fight.

  10. saunders said in a ifilm interview that he will defo fight ryder and if he doesnt he will retire

  11. what belt is that ?

    Aint Bayzangurov a light-middleweight?

Saunders should have gave up the Commonwealth belt and let ryder for that against someone like Blackwell in july and then fight the winner of that in september.
