    Froch mentioned in a post-fight interview that Kessler had a wife! Who is she?

    And who is Kessler's father?

    Why is so little known about Kessler, given how big a star he is in Denmark and how much his sister and mother ride on his coattails?

    Is this just a troll post to identify Danish fans?

    Seriously, he has a girfriend, not a wife. And she does her best to stay out of the tabloids.
    Same goes for his father. All that people know about him is that he used to run a pub and met his mother in England after she had already had a son with someone else.

    I spent a month in training camp with Sakio Bika in Denmark helping Kessler prepare for Librado Andrade. He was/is a great guy. Nearly everyday there were cameras in the gym and he hated it.

    Not much is known about Kessler's father. Not surprising since his mother was basically a tavern *****.. Sorry to say.

    Tbh. I didn't know anything about Kessler's father or his big brother besides his brother is living close to Nottingham in England.
    As mentioned above he have a girlfriend, but not a wife. His girlfriend is "camera shy" or what its called, and prefer to stay out of the media.

    Kesslers sister "Linse" have been part of 2 reality shows and his niece (I think its his niece) is part of one the reality shows.
    Linse first took the name "Kessler" after Mikkel started to get famous before that she used the common name "Christiansen".

    Yes he moved to Monaco to evade taxes. Where he lived near tennis player "Carolina wozniacki" and tabletennis player Michael Maze. As far as I remember he moved back to Copenhagen because he missed Denmark and being near his family.

    @Jan (DK) - I'd love to see Kessler vs. Bute but I doubt it will happen. The earliest it could happen is in summer next year. Will Mikkel be still around then? The fight would have to be at 175 or close to 175 because Bute can no longer go down to 168. Would Mikkel agree to this?

    From Mikkel's point of view, is a fight against Bute interesting anymore? Would a Froch III fight not be more appealing and rewarding? Or Hopkins perhaps. Or someone like Groves or deGale, because Kessler is well known in England now and he already has a rivalry with the Brits already. Or Pascal? (I am assuming Pascal will beat Bute).

    If I were Bute, I'd come to Denmark to fight Kessler after Pascal - it should be a great fight!
