I think Ortiz did take some of Hatton's work away, but by mid fight Floyd was beating Ricky on the inside. Floyd wore down a prime Hatton and set that check hook up beautifully.

 

Hatton is getting massively underrated now its disgusting.

Matthysse looks very good but the hype is off the charts. He hasn't beaten anyone on Hattons level, and has been beaten by lesser. The Hatton that beat Tszyu versus the Matthysse that beat Peterson is a pick em

 

Hatton would get his glass jaw shattered. Suffering the same faith as Cheaterson,

 

is the fight in the UK where Hatton was allowed to hit and hold along with grab, wrestle, clinch and foul without penalty? Or where a referee would stop the action to tie his shoe even when it wasn't untied to save him from getting knocked down? If so then yes he could win.

 

Dude went 40 fights without a loss and he is now labeled with having a glass jaw after being stopped by the two best fighters for the past 10 years.
