I've seen Floyd Jr in his prime and Roy Jr in his prime.

    I think Jones is better.

    Nothing wrong with thinking that.

Too bad Roy has the post Ruiz legacy to stain a flawless career.

According to *****s, Floyd is what Roy Jones could have been if he had skills and not only superb athleticism

Floyd was more skilled, but Roy was more athletic.

Jones was probably better at his peak, but Floyd's longevity helps him a lot. Floyd is like the cloned child of Bernard and Roy

Roy's athleticism is one of the best i have ever seen. In terms of who is better? I still have to go with Floyd due to his boxing IQ, and defense.

    Roy got heavy handed offense.

RJJ is the greatest athlete I've ever seen in a boxing ring. Some of the things he could do in his prime were amazing.

Floyd is the best in the world, Roy was the best in the universe. So ****ing fast and having a picnic during his fights as his opponents were shitting bullets.
After Ruiz, an entirely different animal. Starting with a questionable win over Tarvas.
Never seen a champ have more 120 point wins from judges than Roy.

I was just thinking about this.

I think the way Canelo puts combinations together is Roy Jones-esque.

    Roy even said it.

The ease at which he handled his opponents, he might as well have been reading a newspaper and sipping a cup of tea.

Roy Jones Jr was small by LHW standards. The boxing world wanted him to move up to HW just to find a challenge. Floyd has been at WW for 8 years and nobody will question or ask him to move up to MW to fight an opponent. Floyd is a highly skilled boxer, but Roy in his prime was amazing.

Saul is good, never thought as him being Roy-ish. Whether he win or loses against Floyd, he's still superstar level. (win 12 UD for Floyd)

    Yes he was.

It would have been interesting to see the green 154 version of Roy vs the older, wiser, past prime 2012-2013 Mayweather at 154. Roy didn't last that long, and didn't really fight any one of note at 154 other than Jorge Vaca and Glenn Thomas, while Mayweather in his only 3 fights there has fought #3 ranked, #1 ranked, and Ring champion, respectively, plus they were/are all title holders.
