Current Floyd vs the RJJ that fought Hopkins, for the MW title

as per Floyd's request, it'll be at a 154lb catchweight with rehydration clause

RJJ cant weigh more than 165 on fight night

    who wins?

You think Roy would be too drained?

Jones was 180lbs against a 163 bhop. Roy would be too weak to even step on the scales at that cw. Roy would also be too big for Floyd no matter what. Floyd's peak weight vs Roy's starting weight?

Has to be Floyd on decision. Roy was great but Floyd is the defensive GOAT!

Mayweather would win by default because Jones would die trying to make weight. Literally, he would die.

    180 against B-Hop?

    Have you evidence of that?

Nobody will ever sanction a bout with a rehydration clause.

Hypothetically, it would have been physically impossible for Roy to weigh in at 154 at 24, in 1993, and then only rehydrate by just 6 pounds.

IF Floyd had've fought Roy at 160 hypothetically, then Roy would definitely have won.

But Floyd would never consider fighting anyone at 160, and he wouldn't have fought anyone as great and as dangerous as Roy anyway, he'd have taken a vacation.

Yep... i remember this bc i had an huge arguement on the forums like two months ago. I told somebody that Jones was bigger than Bhop/green on a pro jones thread.

"Jones made his first attempt at a world title on May 22, 1993. He beat future Undisputed Middleweight Champion Bernard Hopkins by unanimous decision in Washington, D.C. to capture the IBF Middleweight Championship. Jones claimed he had entered the bout with a broken right hand, but still managed to outpoint Hopkins and secure a unanimous decision win. Jones reminded the world of this claim on his hit single "Ya'll Must've Forgot" later in his career. While working for HBO as an analyst for Bernard Hopkins' title defense against Simon Brown, Jones would admit on air that he was 16 pounds heavier than Hopkins on fight night, weighing 180 to Hopkins 163."

    My thoughts as well.

The guy bulked up aged 34 to 195ish,having fought at LHW for quite a while.

Pretty sure he wouldnt have weighed anywhere near 180 in his MW days.

Is true. I remember him looking massive against bhop just by the naked eye. Posters was saying that he was taller and rangier than Jonse so therefore bhop was the bigger guy and heated exchanges led me to look for prove to back up my claims.

I'll rather watch the Jones that boxed Vaca at 154 cause more even fight than the Jones that boxed Bhops but Jones wins
