I'd also ask you to bear in mind that being a full blooded Irishman,you'll appreciate that given my heritage, a certain harmless term used on here to describe posters from Britain actually carried the same sort of weight and offence as a certain horrible word to describe African American posters when used to describe people who had emigrated to the UK from our motherland,so my support of Froch is not based on some sort of flag waving blind nationalism.

Only way Ward stops Froch is if he smuggles a nightstick into the ring. Ward's proxy fanbase would then claim using a nightstick was perfectly legal just like the way he uses his head and elbows.

atsch So because Boone KOd Stevenson, you think that all of a sudden its OK for Ward to do the chicken dance and get what some call a fortunate decision :nut. Ward to me looked to have taken 3 rounds off and suffered a KD in a 6 round fight. You do the math.

What matters is that Ward absolutely bossed Europe in its owned tournament. Humiliated and easily defeated its best fighters.

The top fighter had already been beaten by old Calzaghe having his last fight at the weight. That was the division and Ward is fighting the leftovers.
Now stop ducking the questions and answer the questions

What top undefeated fighter has Ward beaten?
What undefeated world champ has Ward beaten?
What undefeated world champ has Ward faced?
What top undefeated fighter has Ward fought?
When has Ward been considered the away fighter in a world title fight?

If Ward has done any of these things then I will be silenced for a while

Like I said, if the Ward vs Froch fight comes off, Froch doesnt win more than 2 rounds on any of the judges scorecards.

He won 5 rounds on 2 of the judges cards in their first fight and that was when away, fatigued and having been fighting away in 4 of his last 5 fights

Lost in Europe
This just gives an idea but do consider that out of those 29 fighters 21 were or became world rated in the division, and some fought more than once in Europe.

European SMW fighters fighting away from home have had better success but still lost some away.

I cant think of one time, when an American SMW has beaten a British SMW in a world title fight in the UK.
Ward is fortunate to be in a weaker era where his best win is an unwell, rusty double vision suffering fighter, who has been very inactive of recent years due to injury and was beaten by the previous champ who was old and having his last fight at the weight. That really is the division at present.

So Im not sure Ward would dare travel to Europe, his team I expect, looked at how these fighters freeze when in the lions den and thats possibly why he didnt travel in the S6 tournament when all others did

PTF seems an honest mature poster, Irishny seems to have made up his mind before entering into a debate

Where have I said throughout this whole debate that Froch would beat Ward?
Even in the post above,all I said was that he should've made enough improvements so that the fight could be more competitive.
Now you're using a complete falsehood to put yourself in a position where you feel it's justifiable to say you're ending the debate, whereas I used a reason that was respectful more than anything.
I wouldn't think for a millisecond that you could care less whether I want to continue the debate whether my reasons were respectful or not,but that's a pretty low road to go down if you're going to make up a lie and suggest that I said it and it's a reason for stopping our debate.
