So you say he got gift decisions against Sturm, Quartey and Whitaker(I thought he beat Quartey and Whitaker), but refuse to acknowledge that most boxing fans felt he beat Trinidad and beat Mosley in the rematch.

    Very unbiased view.

I think the Trinidad fight is the fight that would have made the difference in Oscar's legacy. The Hopkins and Mayweather fights were just not winnable. Oscar had no business at MW, and Oscar was too past it for a prime Mayweather.

You're a fukin joke. Of course, all of his close losses were really losses, and all of his close wins, were really losses, according to your deluded opinion. Can't give the man credit even at the most obvious stages of his career. You are not someone that can be taken seriously, obvious overload of hate emotion clouding logical reasoning.:patsch

Yes, just ignore him, especially when it comes to Oscar posts. I think Oscar banged his sister and mom.

I agree with losing to Sturm, and mosley in first fight. But take a look at the Quartey fight a little closer. That fight was way too close for quartey to go out like that in the 12th, Oscar pulled out all of the stops and really started coming on from about the 9th-10th round to finish strong and pull out the W. He outlanded quartey in power punches, and knocked him down 1 more time. All the stats lean in his favor, as well watching round for round. No way Quartey was ahead by more than 2 points going into the 12th. I had him by 1 point, Oscar got the 10-8 and at worst was a draw, but on my cards he did everything he had to and quartey simply didn't - he started shutting down offensively in the 9-10th round on while Oscar came to life slowly. Oscar almost dropped him in the 11th also, which alot of people don't mention.
As for Pea, again, I believe Pea could have beaten him had he shown more offense, however I think he was tentative as oscar had rocked him a couple times during the fight, stunned him with a huge uppercut. Pea danced the fight away and rather than come out fighting in the 12th, he fuked off as oscar continued to press the action as he did all night. Pea doesn't get points for ducking and dancing, he just didn't land enough effective punches, where oscar did and although missing some, oscar was non stop throwing combo's and pressing him. 115-113 Oscar. I prefer the man doing the damage.

He wouldn't have gotten much credit for either. Floyd was transcended into the mainstream by his win against Oscar and Hopkins benefited from it as well. It would move him up a few places on hardcore fans' lists, but he still lost a lot of his big fights.
