    This. I never found chauncy funny or amusing. The guy was a joke who used to talk about other fighters without ever trying to raise his competition to anything above z level and when he did he got schooled. The smack he was talking about Briggs was ridiculous. Briggs was 100x the fighter he ever was when getting smashed around by Klitschko

    And no Welliver is not new Chuvalo what punchers has he faced?

    That´s what Ronnie meant. But of course Puritty had a very good chin. To the thread starter: Welliver has a good chin, but he also fought no real elite Punchers at HW, so you can´t judge him...

    So far as I know, his KO over a green Puritty was his greatest archivement, he was a journeyman in the 90s.

    I have no idea how good a trainer Welliver might be. I suspect he might be a better option to train a Chinese pro than the fighter might otherwise find, as how many people with any idea about pro boxing are there in China?

    Of course, only great fighters make for great trainers. Angelo Dundee and Eddie Futch were ATGs and P4P kings in their boxing days ... not.

    Also, using a internet radio talk show (OTR) where he was supposed to be interviewing Chris Arreola that turned into him begging Arreola for a fight was downright pathetic.

    Chauncy was in over his head it so much was hilarious. :lol:
