How many of you have Sky Sports and hate its output?

It deserves to be closed down. I stopped my subscription after I paid for Hatton-Mayweather. Anything owned (majority shareholder) by Rupert Murdoch deserves to be closed down as that **** is a right-wing nation-hopping tax dodging ****ing ****. If I want to see any **** that's on Sky Sports I'll get it somewhere else, and you know what I mean.

Sky funds overpaid pussies who play football for a 'living', the money that goes into that ****ing shower means they get paid stupid amounts of cash to dive when they're tackled. I won't give Sky a penny of my money.

Yep, that's where the money goes. Sky not good value if you aren't into football or F1 or whatever.

 

Sky News is as right wing as it gets, look at the Andy Coulson/Rebekah Brooks ****. That ****ing crap was shoved under the carpet. Don't forget also Coulson and company (employed by Murdoch) were Cameron's spin doctors/advisors, call the ****s what you want. Look at how many column inches that Brooks and Coulson crap got yesterday in The Times and The Sun (maybe one?)...Hold on a second, who owns The Times and The Sun? Rupert Murdoch.

Sky also blow sunshine up David Cameron's backend, and also are very Royalist. The BBC are left wing, and they will only tell you what they want you to hear. I think out of the pair I'd rather watch neither and go for Al Jazeera or Russia Today.

One Sky salesman once came to my house and asked me who my internet provider was, I said British Telecom. He asked me if I wanted to shift to Sky. I replied 'no', and he asked why...I just said 'principles' and sent him away from my house.

 

That would be an example of company bias, but hardly right wing bias.

Sky is as right wing as it gets. Look at the simple left/right wing Labour/Conservative thing...who ran the Tory spin? Andy Coulson, News Corp. David Cameron basically employed Murdoch's cronies to speak for him because who was the most powerful man in media? That would be Rupert Murdoch. Who runs The Times? Murdoch. Who runs The Sun? Murdoch. Both newspapers are as right wing as it gets (Daily Mail notwithstanding)...and so too for Sky.

 

But that doesn't tell you what the Sky News output is like. (And it just isn't right wing.)

I only watch football, cricket and boxing. While their coverage is well over the top, its very good.

My issue isnt with the boxing really(though they should freshen up the presentation), its with matchroom having a sky monopoly. Wish they would take on other promoters on a show by show basis. If coldwell or hatton put together a good show then why not air it?

As a sad tight arse who likes boxing and rugby {union) and has no other interests and hobbies at present I have sky BN and Espn.I thought sky coverage was much better when they had the spiky haired guy with sticky out lugs(think I saw him recently on ESPN).But I should really get off my rapidly expanding arse and see some live boxing however would cost me more money and worryingly seem to be trapped on this setee!!!!
