People underrating Lopez here.

Maidana had tough time with Soto Karass and I think overall Josesito is better and more trickier than Karass.. I'm picking Lopez to win.

One thing I will say Lopez has never hit the deck facing Ortiz... this could be a factor because Chino did but he got up both times and scored his own knock downs.

So the question is if Chino drops Lopez does Lopez have it in him to get up and make a come back from that?

Lopez is a sleeper in this fight but I am thinking Maidana takes this with body shots, Lopez looked gaunt on the scales yesterday

Maidana looked much improved in his last fight. We will see how much more he has improved and whether he can become a legit threat and be in the conversation with the big boys at 147 and higher. Maidana needs to make a statement vs Lopez.

Lopez has nuts of steel he is single handedly fighting every top welter and super welter in multiple divisions and not long ago he was just a Jr welter.

 

Well I don't how much you have seen Lopez fighting but.. You have to KTFO this kid if you wanna get rid of him. He never gives up. One of the toughest guys on the sport.

He was just too small for Canelo but still gave brave and spirited effort.
