    Round 1

Casillas is leading with left hooks, poorly aimed. Diaz catches him with much more fluid right hooks on the hairline. Straight left by Diaz standing his ground as Casillas walks toward him. Another straight left by Diaz, using it like a jab from the southpaw stance, snapping Casillas' head back with it. Hard flush combo by Diaz, right hook to the face and straight left to the body. Casillas begins to use some head & shoulder movement, leaning in and weaving to get close. Diaz holds Casillas back with the right jab and turns him, stepping around to his right and scoring with a right hook in front of the left ear of Casillas. Sloppy overhands by Casillas pushing forward. Diaz grinds his right shoulder into Casillas' lungs and drives him back a few steps. Diaz circles and releases some crisp right jabs. Left hand lead between the eyes by Diaz. Casillas swallows a few more lefts trying to tilt in for some touches on Diaz's body, unsuccessfully.

    10-9 Diaz

    Round 2

Casillas ducks into a straight shot from Diaz. Casillas is hurling the right hand over the top and Diaz knocks it aside with a shrug of his left. Diaz puts the right jab in Casillas' face and shrinks away from a Casillas slap over the top. Left uppercut from outside by Diaz. Casillas sends a left hook flapping in wide from the side, caught on Diaz's right arm. Smooth combination by Diaz, putting the left hand together with the right hook. Casillas misses several wide left hooks and hits paydirt with an overhand right. Diaz is unaffected by it but has caught Casillas in his wheelhouse and begins to land combinations on his face. Casillas looks ready to wither. Diaz whips a right hook into his skull. Casillas roams in and holds Diaz around the middle. Double left hand by Diaz to body and head.

    10-9 Diaz

    20-18 Diaz

    Diaz looks sluggish as hell.

Update: this has been amended from a 6 to a 4-round bout, to accommodate the scheduling of the Showtime televised broadcast. It was a swing bout, so this possibility was understood by all parties involved.

Diaz isn't forgetting the body, that's good. His straight left can't miss, but he's got that left uppercut to the body working.

    Round 3

Diaz is catching Casillas with the right jab and left cross, circling in a regular rhythm and landing at will. Casillas stumbles after taking a Diaz right hook. Diaz is slow to recognize that Casillas is hurt, but Casillas is unable to hide it for long. Casillas keeps punching back, yet his legs are weakening. Left uppercut by Diaz, moving in. Casillas leans against him, totally devoid of energy. Hard combination high on the head by Diaz. Right hook by Diaz at the bell.

    10-9 Diaz

    30-27 Diaz
