Lara is fighting very defensive. Angulo pressuring and landing some decent shots to the body. Lara still landing sharper upstairs.

    Round 2

Angulo tries for hooks to the body. Lara is landing the right jab and left cross, luring Angulo to the ropes but springing out at skewed angles with right hooks pounding into Angulo's left ear, reddening it. Very sharp lead lefts by Lara. Angulo is pushing a jab out in pursuit and hoping to swat below on Lara's midsection when he traps him on the ropes - which never happens. Lara dodges an uppercut but gets touched with a couple of body taps. TRIPLE STRAIGHT LEFT BY LARA. Angulo's head is quivering with the force of Lara's extremely accurate, technically correct, precise, snapped lefts. Shoeshine to the body by Angulo, all caught on the bottom of the lowered guard by Lara.

    10-9 Lara

    20-18 Lara

    Round 3

Angulo is trying to work the body, and still pushes that jab up top. Lara blasts Angulo on the nose with the straight left. Angulo switches to southpaw and uses some right forearm thrusts to steer Lara into the ropes. Left hand lead by Lara. Stiff-arm to the throat by Angulo. 1-2 by Lara, partly blocked. Lara circles away, using quick movement and leaving a right jab for Angulo to walk into. Angulo marches through and whacks Lara's body, pinning him on the ropes. Lara escapes and covers up as Angulo walks him to the next set of ropes. BIG LEFT UPPERCUT by Lara, sending rivulets of sweat flying into the eighth row from Angulo's braided tail.

10-9 Lara but Angulo enjoyed increased success.

    30-27 Lara

Angluo is getting more effective now. Could those body shots be slowing Lara down?

All three Showtime commentators have it 29-28 to Lara, all having given Angulo the 3rd.
