RJJ vs. Ward, who wins and why?

Who would win this great matchup? I personally believe Ward would win by a close decision.

 

Now? Ward easy win. When RJJ was a natural SM Roy wins easy.

 

I just can't see it. Roy was so fast back then. I'm a big fan of Ward's though, and I hope to see him at 175 next year.

 

Roy Jones and easily..

Too powerful, too fast, too good for Ward.. Roy Jones would have taken this fight in a heart beat, it was exactly the kind of fight he loved to fight..

 

I think Jones's speed would be more than Ward could handle. Ward is an outstanding boxer, but Jones in his day was something else.

 

Jones in his prime would be way too strong and fast for Ward. He'd walk all over him.

 

RJJ in his SMW Prime would destroy just about everyone within that weight class!

 

I know Ward has decent footwork but all I can see happening is him sitting on the back foot waiting for Jones to come in, and Jones getting in and out landing a few shots before Ward can land himself. Ward is an incredible boxer, don't get me wrong, but I just don't think his style is right for the likes of Calzaghe or Jones. To be fair he probably boxes the **** out of most top SMWs over the years minus a select few

Calm down. Ward is one of the most talented fighters of TODAY, but of all time? Hardly.

There would be nothing close about this fight.

 

RJJ wins and he'd make it look easy.
