He showed a lot of will in that fight. He dropped Lara twice, but that straight left was nailing him and ultimately ended things. Lara better learn to keep those hands high on the way out.

Yeah, that's because he is a face first fighter who wins fights with attrition. That's not boxing and he will be busted up and broke when his career is over. Even if he had of won that fight, he still was taking too much punishment because he can't box. Props to Lara for sticking to his boxing and dealing with the knockdowns like a real one.

 

Angulo had nothing to prove. He's been known as a Warrior. Sometimes you just have to take the L.

just a few minutes before that ending i was thinking that Angulo was a monster from a nightmare that just wouldn't stop, no matter what. then, boom! he walks away.

he took some punishment in there tonight. his face looked a mess. he gets my respect.

he's a warrior, but he just couldn't take any more. any one who calls him a quitter should go and do that **** themselves and show us all what they're made of.

both were. but yeah, Lara's skill just told in the end. hope he gets some more fights after this. i can't see him being champ, but he'll give any at 154 a run for their money.

 

a lot of people here knocks the P.R. down but P.R. has had some of the best champions and is a very small island and most that wright them off know nothing of the sweet science and never have laced a pair of gloves. In addition, probably never been in a fight.

They would have stopped that fight anyway. He's a warrior. I wish he would have went out on his shield but they wouldn't have let him continue anyway.
