I think Froch would get to him with his quirky aggression and workrate, but despite beating Kessler he showed he's still very hittable. Granted, Kessler has the much better delivery system for his punches, but if Stevenson can connect flush on an eigth as many shots as Kessler did, it might be taps for the Cobra.
froch has a granite chin but i think that stevenson is wild/awkward/unorthodox/athletic enough to catch carl with something crazy...that being said there are question marks about supermans chin....carl froch's experience and better beard will probably get him through if he withstands adonis' wild shots early

Froch has too much for Stevenson. Adonis has the punching power, but Froch has the chin and the power. i hope this is a fight that Hearn is looking at for Carl. either it can be next, or the one after that. it would need to take place at 168 though. would Stevenson want to drop the belt and move down for the chance to take the cobra's crown? we shall soon know the answer.
Carl should have defended against Stevenson before fighting Kessler,said it months ago.As it is,Stevensons days at SMW are over,and according to whats been said,Carls too small to go up to light heavy,though I don't believe it.Im positive it will never happen.Far more chance of Tony Bellew.

Stevenson was stopped by Boone, a guy with low K.O% so I'm not sure how that chin would stand up against Froch's heavy hands. Lets not forget, Bute was a hype and big puncher when Froch fought him, but Froch walked through his punches and made him his ***** .
Don't want to overrate the Dawson win but Froch is there to be hit and has no head movement whatsoever... And he struggled dealing with fast (hand and/or foot speed) guys in Ward and Dirrell. Froch is iron, though. Tough call. Gun to my head I say Froch but I said the same thing about Dawson and that took, what? 1 minute 13 seconds?
Kessler hits a lot harder than Stevenson and has proved that with stoppages over better guys. Froch took Kessler's punches in both fights and was never in trouble or badly hurt, so people thinking Stevenson is any threat to Froch are mad. What happened to the last guy who came from Canada and was hyped up?
