Dirrell either suffered a horrible brain injury from the Abraham cheap shot, or he doesn't have the resolve to bounce back from bad breaks that a champion level fighter must possess. Or a little of both.

Any way you want to cut it, the conclusion is the same: Dirrell's in no state to return to top level boxing. It's in his best interest to retire and be a family man now.

I had Dirrell winning the fight by 3 rounds. He pretty much outboxed him the entire fight, but he did a little too much running around in the latter rounds, and that's a big no-no to try and coast during the championship rounds especially when you're in the other guys backyard.

Sadly, Dirrell hasn't been the same since the Abraham fight. I thought he had one of the most promising futures in all of boxing, probably just a shade under Ward as far as potential goes.

At this stage in his career, he's not deserving of a fight with Froch whatsoever until he starts fighting consistently, and puts together a couple of victories in a row before they can think about a potential sequel. It's amazing to see where Froch's and Dirrell's careers have gone since they met each other in the opening stages of the Super 6 tourney.

    Not even competitive???

Split decision by judges....... not competitive.... ok what a pointless thread lackin any substance. I think ward wins a rematch more decisively but dirrel will get beat again its a waste of time!!

Tbh am guessin u know how dirrell's dick tastes......

If dirrel wants a rematch go beat george groves and he will get it because in the eyes of carls promoters other than ward he is the next legit challenger

I think dirrell has to give AA a rematch first.
AA was about to administer the coup de grace when chicken dancer took the dive.

as a froch fan i had dirrel shading that fight but anyone claiming they can't see how he lost is kidding themselves. if he held belts and the #1 spot at 168 froch would rematch him, same as he will ward.

There is no need for a rematch. But there would be demand.

Froch - Dirrell would have neither.

Do you get my point? Froch-Ward II in the UK makes some sense commercially.

Your trolling needs a bit more finesse, I could see the point you were trying to make from the title you decided to give your thread.

Otherwise, I totally agree. When Dirrel has won two belts and Froch doesn't have a belt then Froch should definitely fly to the US for a rematch.

froch's belts dont mean **** because they arent for a genuine world title
that being said, froch has bigger fish to fry than dirrell, who is totally off the radar as a player in world boxing

also, dirrell didnt get robbed in the froch fight (for anyone who thinks he did), he wasnt active and consistent enough over 12 rounds to be awarded the decision
