The fight was stopped too early

    i laughed at your "refs are trained"
    most are back yard YMCA boxing club refs who get into a big fight like this and have never seen a world class punch land on a world class champion and panic.

    He looked like ****.

    On ESB, a good stoppage is when the ref counts to 10 and the fighter is already asleep by 3.

    on ESB its a good stoppage if "he would have been knocked out anyway"

    Whether he is the champ or not should not matter.
    Dawsons were gone, if you look at Dawsons legs during the count he could not even stand straight up. It was a rightfully decesion to stop the fight there, the ref is also protecting the health and safety of the fighters. Good call by the ref.

    apparently you have never seen a fight where someone has looked out before only to come back and even win. it happens. give the guy a 2nd knockdown, its a high stakes world title fight ffs.
    no one said it was a **** stoppage, but it was a quick one
