The Thornberry fight was like an amateur contest at best.

Joe could of fought Dawson for a real belt at LH but chose the easy route against two old timers instead and almost came away with a loss. Haha

Prime Hop would of absolutely embarrassed Joe.

SLYK is unable to contribute to this thread because he doesn't know anything about the fighters at hand.

it is funny watching him make a tit of himself though. poor German.

you couldn't look more stupid even if you tried. :deal

Joe fought fights against those that were his size.

lets take a look at Marvin shall we?

one of his biggest wins was against Hearns, who was a former Welter. Hearns also had one punch jaw syndrome that made Khan's chin look like the second coming of Oliver McCall.

a way past prime Duran who was a career Lightweight who nearly beat Hagler. i had it by 1 point to Hagler which is the same as a couple of the judges had it.

a career Welter in Leonard who had been out for years but actually beat Hagler. i had it by 2 points to Leonard.

Bennoe Briscoe who was well past prime but lasted the distance and actually pushed Hagler with his pressure. Hagler felt it in there. Calzaghe would have brought pressure that was literally 40 times that. could you imagine how Hagler would have dealt with that? he'd be gasping for breath after 3-4 rounds.

so i'd keep it shut if i were you on opposition when it comes to these two.

Hopkins was the same size as Joe. :deal

Duran was beaten by Laing and Benitez a year before he got in there against Hagler.

Leonard had lost to Duran before he beat Hagler. the rematch between Leonard/Duran was pathetic. Leonard just ran and failed to engage with Duran like a coward.

:huh who is this fighter that Joe avoided for a decade? :think

Slyk thinks Wlad would beat Ali. Any and all posts he makes can be deemed null and void. Thanks.

Joe didn't lose to Reid. Reid was also a top 5 back then in his prime. you haven't heard of him because you're an ignorant American.

Hagler lost to a past prime Leonard who had been out for years and was a natural Welter. he nearly lost to a way past prime former Litght Weight.

you think Hagler is beating Joe? :nut

it has nothing to do with the "0"

it's a nice thing to have, but it's the substance that matters.

still nothing of substance to say?

tell me about the fighters that Hagler fought. then tell me where you put Wilde on the ATG list.

    very simple questions.

Shiieeeettttttttt.. everyone knows that Leonard is a top 10 ATG fighter who would later go on to win titles at Super Middleweight and Light Heavyweight, being the first 5 division champion. Hagler was retired and only fought 3 fights in 3 years till the Leonard fight was decided. Not to mention that Leonard is taller than Hagler with a bigger reach. Reid was bodying the **** out of Slappy till he got robbed, these are facts. Why would I, or anyone in the boxing world know who an obscure boxer like Robin Reid is? SHIIEEEEETTTTT... Floyd Mayweather didn't even know Slappy's name in an interview, that's how respected Slappy is in the boxing world.:lol::lol::lol:
