Top marks for the earlier poster with 'Capitalism Ball'!

You don't get it you thick ****. Cameron employed Coulson to act as his ****ing spin doctor. Coulson is a ****ing right-wing **** who is up in court for all kinds of ****. See also Rebekah Brooks.

Murdoch is a right-wing nation-hopping Tory loving ****. Look at Fox news, The Times, The Sun, Sky News. Look at his son...****ing hell, you don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.

Read my earlier post in this thread mate , I bought sky sports for a month to watch the Lions and told the Mrs to cancel it last weekend when we had had it long enough to catch the third test before it got cut off but the guy on the phone said for £6.00 a month we could keep it for a year ,,, Bargain so now for the price of a pint and a half a week I get both Boxnation & 5 sky sports channels . :good

What did you say to them pal? Just that you don't need it and want to cancel? I have it but feel like my sky bill is sky high right now

Football and boxing are the only two sports I follow intensely. I generally go out to watch the match so i cancelled my skysports subscription because I was paying for just the boxing and there isnt enough good shows on to make it worthwhile. I kept boxnation though. I still buy PPV's if I'm interested enough. For everything else, I can watch the fights a few days later through other media.

Nope me neither, offered me it for £5 a month for the close season (footy) but that was it. The lad on the phone didnt even know trhe F1 channel was free with Sky HD though.

Wonder if you have to have movies as well to get that offer?

Yes we have the movies as well lads , I work away and the Mrs recordes all the fights for me , my part of the package costs me £16 a month (£10 of that is for Boxnation ) and the Mrs pays the rest , I think the rip off comes if you have the HD package because they were dead keen for me to upgrade to that but if you do then you are committed to it for a year and then they offer zero discount . Stick to ya guns and refuse HD then ghetto start offering all sorts of deals , I'm watching the lions now and the quality of pictures great in no HD ,, 0-24 to the lions after 20 mins

Cheers for that fella, they are really inconsistent with their offers. Might try it without HD for a while, see if i can adjust haha. You get better offers when you have the full 'channel' package, as i dont have movies it probably hinders me.

No worries mate but you might find you are committed to HD for a year , I just asked my Mrs and she said we have ,

    Sky movies
The Cartoon Network package ( for our grandson )
    The Discovery package
The four sky sport package plus the F1 channel ( I pay £6 )
    Boxnation ( that I pay £10 for )

For around £50 a month inc the £16 a month I lob in ) it ain't a bad deal it works out all inc £12.50 a week ,
