he can be irritating at times, but I find him more tolerable than Bernardo Osuna. Would really enjoy hearing Nigel Collins do some color on ESPN FNF. he just tweets apparently.

C'mon folks get real........ Teddy Atlas has been around boxing a long time like me. He's done it all Fighter, trainer, commentator & in my humble opinion would be the ideal man to head an International Boxing Commission.. One of the most compelling things about Teddy is he obviously LOVES the sport . Its his life. He forgotten more about the sport than Kellerman, Lampley etc will ever know. Plus he is HONEST!!! If he sees a bad call, Bad decision etc he'll call it. He'll call a bad judge a bad judge. He is not afraid to tell it like it is. Lampley & Kellerman are merely cheerleaders neither have ever been in a ring in there lives & it shows.
Sure Teddy can be a little bombastic & overbearing at times but that is mostly brought on by getting carried away after seeing blatant wrong doin.
Teddy is Friday Night Fights take him off & you may as well take the show off

Teddy is another one of those loud, obnoxious New YAWKAS that thinks simply saying something louder makes you right.

Teddy would be the worst thing for boxing. He's the biggest hypocrite in the sport. Hes biased, hot headed, and ignorant. He ranted and ranted about corruption in the sport while he was being paid by the russian mob to train Elvir Muriqui. He didnt seem to mind cashing those checks...

In today's corporate world everyone and everything is neutered as to not offend or turn away a customer. Hot sauce is less spicy. Yogurt is less sour. Not because that is how the products are meant to be, but because they can sell more of them if they don't offend anyone. Are you getting the real experience though? That is the reason I hate the NBA and NFL. I get so sick and tired of the coached vanilla nonsense coming out of everyone's mouth.

I think he is a guy that makes you feel something. You hate him. You like him. You feel something though. Why? Teddy is REALLY Teddy. He is mad at the judging with you. He is making bad calls as much as good ones. He is a regular guy.

Damn, this makes me re-evaluate Merchant. :think
