    Not saying he's as powerful as a prime Julian Jackson, but let's not forget it was his 8th stoppage in a row, too. And a lot of them have been of the very brutal kind, if you see what I mean. The Ring Magazine ranked him first for SMW power and he has to be pretty high on the P4P list.

    The punch he landed on Dawson wasnt that hard, it was just placed well. Dawson didnt go to sleep he just lost balance because he was hit behind the ear. Don't know why the ref didnt allow him to continue.

    Martinez landed a better punch on Williams.

    C'mon man, are you serious? Dawson was out on his feet when the ref asked him if he was alright. Not only that but Dawson didn't even protest the stoppage afterwards.

    I agree that Hopkins would be a really bad matchup. I think he mentioned him because that would be the biggest money fight for him at 175 as he doesn't seem all that interested in fighting Pascal or Bute.

    accept it or not but Stevenson has some serious genuine K.O power in his hands. He K.O'd the champ at 175 in 1st round regardless if people are saying that Dawson's punching resistance was seriously diminished by Ward @ 168.

    agree but we all know that Froch likes to engage into a fight and go to war ... so maybe he would think that Stevenson is a a B level / not in his league and he (Froch) would like to impose his power and his will against him resulting a brutal slugfest ... :hey:think

    well, indeed isn't a such good idea to stay and trade powerful shots against a guy with lightning K.O power but for the fun of the action I'd like to see a war between Stevenson and Kovalev/ Pascal or Froch @ 175. :yep

    Stevenson is far easier to beat than many of you realize. He is crude/easy to hit and he has a glass jaw.
    Jean Pascal would beat him, if the inactivity hasn't got to him.

    The stupidity :patsch. Hearns KO'ed people in multiple divisions, he even stunned one of the best iron chinned warriors of all time in Hagler, who was a division above Hearns' prime weight.
    Stevenson has KO'ed 20 bums and jelly jawed Jawson. :patsch

    Did you see that Dawson barely was staying on his feet when he got up and the referee checked him to see if he's able to continue the fight ?!

    Dawson was in the Wonderland after he got up ...
