You might laugh at this statement but he looked seriously special on saturday night! His movement and defence was superb and i didnt understand Richie Woodhalls claims that he got caught too much in the fight.

I believe he really was injured like he said in his two fights at the end of last year and imo is ready to fight Sakio Bika now?

    Your thoughts......

I don't think his opponent was decent enough to warrant judging him as looking seriously special

Chunky has put down once in his whole career though and that was when he was a fat kid in the JABA's

Notice that he still doesn't turn his punches over fully, leading to a few slaps?

Hasn't fought enough at a higher level to judge..... Furry Jnr looked good on Saturday as well but he was fighting a bum

Surely he should seek a rematch with groves

He looked much better against his previous opponent. In mitigation DeGale took the fight at less than a fortnight's notice. Needs to drop the "Chunky" nickname though- makes him sound like a UK Garage MC from 1998.

I don't think he beats froch yet but I think woodhall was harsh degale takes a shot well and sometimes you have to take one to get through with one when degale does get caught he seems to take them in a similar fashion to froch where they aren't flush as he knows they're coming I think he just needs more fights at a better level

I see it as a 50/50 fight tbh, but Froch's experience will be a be a big part of this fight.

I'll go with this. Unless Froch has really fallen off badly and De Gale has come on loads in a year.
