I still think Frampton beats Quigg on the evidence of what I have seen of them but Quigg hasn't really been tested enough at a high level to be sure other than Monroe who I think was pretty much on the way out anyway. Would be a great domestic fight though and wouldn't be confident of backing either to win with any degree of certainty.

Quigg hasn't been tested because he did such a good job on Monroe that's the difference it's like saying rigondeaux hasn't been tested because he whooped donaire(not that I'm saying quigg is on par with rigondeaux)

glad as atleast Quigg can start to get his career back on track now but this now means we are even less likely to see Frampton v Quigg anytime soon

It's a good signing...not sure why it wouldnt be a like others stated no brainer from Hearn he couldnt do the deal with Frampton/McGuigan without opening a can of worms.

Crap work here by matchroom, I've been a big matchroom fanboy but this signing is pure Bollocks. He's let Frampton go to boxnation and signed up quigg instead. He'll also fill us full of shite about how quigg is really the best super Bantamweight in the UK. it's all rubbish.

beginning to see through matchroom a bit now.

I was just splitting hairs tbh. :good

I've always wondered why he fights mainly at the MEN. I know he was struggling to sell tickets when he fought Barratt at the O2 (bogof if I remember rightly) but surely that wouldn't be a problem now. No matter.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's to make him more centralised to the rest of the country, but you'd think he could sell tickets in London still

  12. I'm interested to hear hearns opinions on quigg
He said several times frampton would beat him and was the star of the two

Kind of like when frank signed groves

It's a bit like when you call your mates new girl "a right moose" then he ends up marrying her

Framptons next 3 fights are going to be on boxnation. after that he cud fight quigg on sky. Quigg going to matchroom definately increases the chances of frampton v quigg happening.

    Good signing.

Happy for Quigg, he's a good boxer and seems a good lad. Needs to be kept active. I think Quigg would of signed for Matchroom regardless of Frampton leaving. He has not had a fight since November.

Still a possibility of Quigg v Frampton. Frampton is promoted by Barry.. and once that 3 fight deal in Belfast is over. Surely a strong possibility.
