He hardly ever gets a mention. I know he's had spells of inactivity but he's been a top solid euro level fighter for a while. I think he stops gavin and maybe goes further than euro level.

I too rate him highly and pick him to prevail over Gavin if he keeps his head.
Shame about the inactivity and I'd love to see him out more often.

Very good fighter, he needs a better promoter that's gonna keep him active.

I expect him to bully Gavin and probably stop him late on.

He's a very good British / European level fighter, I think once he gets out pointed by Gavin he'll go on to dominate the British scene while Gavin & Brook fight at a higher level.

Would love to see Vassell fight the likes of Purdy & Hatton

Really like denton and have since that great fight with Purdy, shame he doesnt fight more and shame he doesnt hit a little harder.

I see gavin beating him 8-4 type decision if the best of both shows up, if the best gavin doesnt he's in big trouble

My brother Matty and I were down at his gym sparring and he is a beast!!

Before that I might have picked Frankie to win on points but after seeing the way he trains I think that Denton will wear him down to either a points decision or maybe even stop him late.

  9. It is due to his inactivity and some low key commenwealth fights

Still unbeaten, strong as an Ox and throws a good variety of shots
Isn't a big puncher though,I'm sure he was with hattons and he was another casualty of their tv problems

I like Denton but don't think he is a huge talent. He is decent boxer and is very strong but I don't think he can go much further then domestic level. Personally think Frankie is a level above him and will outbox him to a fairly wide ud.

Your right I haven't seen you in the gym mate, I'm just basing my opinion on what I have seen. I have seen more of your fights than his and I believe that you have the talent to beat anyone but you don't always use it.

I agree that tactics will play a big part of the fight and if you get into a rhythm you could outpoint Denton but if Denton manages to impose himself on you the decision will go the other way. For this fight you will need to be in the best condition you have ever been because if you tire it could be a painful night.

I wish you the best for the fight as I do for Denton.

Denton is a very good fighter but I think frankie boxes his head off and wins quite comfortably on points!

Frankie Gavin is going to school him to a wide UD i believe Vassell would lose a rematch with Purdy

I'm picking Vassell over Gavin, based on what I have seen from both.
