Come on Ustinov is slow trash. He would not be able to handle WIlders speed. Look how slow Pulev is and he was able to land all day.

Americans also thinks that Rome is in america, and that travelling with a plane from one american place to another american place is considerable like travelling outside of america.
    Yeah.

  4. Does anyone of you really think Wilder faces Mago or Boytsov??
He won't face fighters of this quality before 2015.

It will be Bakthov or Orlov. I am sure Bakhtov could trouble him.

What Europe calls countries, America calls states. Let's see what European fighters can find and identify Oklahoma and Wisconsin on a map.

You could fit a good portion of Europe in Texas.

As for being able to name and distinguish former Soviet republics, who really cares? Belarus, for example, has been a "country" for like 20 years (although it seems it is really still a Russian "union state," which is all it really ever has been.

And the 'rus' in Belarus is short for BelaRUSSIAN Republic, as it was known in its Soviet days, so calling a Belarussian a Russian is hardly a major sin.

So, you are claiming that not knowing were Rome is, is not the typical, colossal, american ignorance....

And who cares about the difference between Oklahoma and Wisconsin?
What hystorical role have they ever had?

Europe has a multimillenar hystory, while the whole american story is not longer than 500 years.... and the interesting part is not even that longer, 300 years at best.

It doesn't necessarily have to be Abdusallamov or Boytsov.

    Obviously it won't be Povetkin.

Andrey Fedosov will have just recently fought Bryant Jennings (and lost...:yep this Friday night) so it won't be him.

Maskaev is a near-certain KO1 and former big name for him to snatch up - but it's an improbable choice given his age. Too little credit would be given, as Big O wouldn't be a step back down to Dustin Nichols or anything but certainly from the last several Wilder foes. The risk isn't worth it - considering that Maskaev does have the punch to put Wilder to sleep if he's unlucky enough to not land first. (almost the exact scenario as with Abdusallamov - could end in explosive first-minute KO1 either way). Besides, Maskaev will have only had six weeks since his last tough night's work and seems content to carry out his 'comeback' at home.

Evgeny Orlov is set to maul the probably fat and complacent version of Manuel Charr en route to a UD loss this Saturday. Besides, even at this stage of his progression Wilder is sure to want to maintain a height advantage so as to protect that chin.

Denis Bakhtov is being shipped to Kiev and fed to Ukrainian prospect Andriy Rudenko the week before Wilder's scheduled date, so he is out.

That leaves Vladimir Tereshkin. He suits Wilder's needs perfectly. He is a tall southpaw (but still a bit shorter than Wilder) with an unbeaten record - but has fought absolutely nobody, and certainly nobody very dangerous. The most fearsome was probably Evgeny Orlov, who showed Tereshkin to be fragile and put him in a great deal of trouble before a sympathetic referee disqualified the blubbery giant. Beyond that, Tereshkin's most notable accomplishments include a draw with Turkish whipping boy Adnan Serin and decisions over Danny Peret and Remy Ziausys (professional decision losers by trade). You can imagine the sensationalizing if Wilder kayos a big tall young undefeated Russian southpaw. Harkening back to Rocky IV and the cold war it would be sure to improve his stature among casual US fans - even without them having a clue who Tereshkin is or what his credentials were. :patriot He was last in the ring in March and has nothing scheduled. He is my sleeper candidate.

It will be shot to **** Maskaev. Just wait and see. I saw his last fight. He looked terrible. The perfect fight for Wilder.

  12. What about Chagev?? Maybe Wilders managment don't know he is not from Russia and just call a Russian. Would be a great fight and I am sure Ruslan would win!
