Ward didn't fight Dawson at 175 because he didn't have to. Ward held all the cards and Dawson was willing to go to Oakland and 168 , Ward used his leverage to get all the advantages he could. Even though it was smart on Ward's part to get things in his favor I really wanted Ward to go to 175 for the fight. Moving up and beating Dawson would have been a more interesting fight and impressive win. With talk of Dawson having trouble with the weight and then him getting ko'ed in 1 round against Stevenson it has really taken some of the shine off of Ward's win. I still think the win was a very good one for Ward but a lot of people see it somewhat different and if he would have just done the fight at 175 that wouldn't be the case.
He will silence them by his ability in the ring or traveling? You guys are a bunch of tards. Get over it already and accept it, the real fights happen in America. Always did and always will. No, they don't happen in the clubs of Wales where Calzaghe made a career nor Manchester.
Dawson could have (and should have) tried to get a rematch with Pascal. This was something even his trainer at the time had said he preferred first before a Ward fight.
Steveson would of ko'd Dawson anyway. Superman's boxing skills get underrated because of his 1 punch ko power. One of my first posts on this forum was that Steveson would blow Bute away and i got laughed off.
he is also the champ at 168, has the best 168 resume, and made those dumbass euros look like amaturs.:yep
