How was it not legit? He hit Ortiz, Ortiz went down, Ortiz couldn't get up before the 10 count. That's a knockout. Protect yourself at all times.

Mayweather is feather fisted. Why people are trying to say he's not is beyond me. If Mayweather had Pacman type power he would be the greatest of all time.

If Mayweather is not the best in the world because he's not a KO puncher, does that mean Willie Pep is not an ATG????

He doesn't look for the KO. If it comes then he'll take it. His main objective is to win.

I agree. He can punch when he wants to. Some of the shots he hit Hatton with were very solid. He doesn't go all out on his shots, though. He isn't a no risk fighter, just a low risk one.

His hands are messed up. He doesn't have a lot of power to begin with. He doesn't take huge risks to get knockouts. And he fights against guys who rarely or never get stopped.

Void does not have to fight, he owns the judges, referee, etc., he can't lose a decision, so why bother to fight?

Usually when a fighter fights in a higher level the ko gets less and less. Good fighters doesn't get ko easily. not to mention that he has been moving up in weight.

Its not floyds faught , but fact is fact , he DID sucker punched Ortiz . If Ortiz suckered punched Floyd and knocked him out . All hell would have broken lose with Floyds fans ,and they would be saying the same thing im saying . "Ortiz knockout over floyd was not legit !" "It was a fluke knockout ! " We would never hear the end of it .

Well, he's the highest-paid athlete in the world despite his boring style.

And he's not stupid, he knew he'd need to have more exciting boxers like Matthysse and Garcia on the undercard to sell the PPV.

Some time ago he stopped putting combinations together. There have been a few instances where he really opened up on his opponents, a couple times with Shane, a couple times with Cotto (in the last round), one time with Guerrero (I think round 8) where he unleashed multiple punch combos and you saw the guys were dazed/hurt and had no answer. But then he retreats, and is content picking them apart.
But it's those moments where he has to go for broke, and he COULD'VE stopped all of those fights. But didn't.
