Hughie Fury vs Darren Corbett 12/07/13

Hes a 5' 10'' 40 year old cruiser weight

 

Hes record is better but fury for too big strong young fresh its a bit of cash in the back pocket for corbett no more hel fall in 2

 

Yeah reasonable step up

But Corbett looked fleshy at cruiser so what will he look like stepping up in weight

 

At this stage he needs to fight often against various opponents,build up slowly, I'd say at 18, and 3/4 fights in this fight is totally acceptable

 

Nothing wrong with the fight great hes out so often gaining experience i really like the look of hughie but just dismissing the fact its a big step up

 

My record is better than Baby Huey's last 5 opponents ... and I don't even box.

 

Peter Fury said on twitter the other week that they were looking at fighting Gregor Toney in September that would be a big test at this stage of hughies career

 

Another pathetic opponent.Does Hennessey really believe he can pass this **** on to paying fans?

 

I hear his brother Ronnie is better.

 

He's 18 and still learning. I'd be concerned if he was not as busy as he is now. Later on this year he should step it up.

 

Wow a 18 year old who is a rare novice having is opponents ripped apart on here , what do people expect ? His promoter is keepin him busy and even had him fighting abroad I think he is do well by fury and keeping him active against various different styles is Only a good thing

 

I'm not saying he needs to fight world champs, but he needs to fight boxers who have some idea of what winning a fight means, not professional opponents who haven't so much have tried to win a round since Baby Huey was learning to shave.

I'll take a 5-3 guy with limited ability who is at least in there trying to win every time over guys who are only there to lose and not even try.

And if Baby Huey wants to be seen as a "raw 18-year-old novice just learning his way," he can shut his trap about breaking Tyson's record and act like a guy who wants to be seen as green behind the ears. If he wants to compare himself to Tyson, he deserves the same kind of scrutiny Tyson had from the start.
