Tyson Fury's career will never recover if he gets sparked by David Haye

This is a load of bull****, watch the fight again. Haye and Wlad were both going for the knockout.

 

You would think Fury was going up against Joe Louis and Muhammad Ali's love child the way Fury is being dismissed here. If Fury sticks to same game plan he did vs Page and Johnson he can easily beat Haye on points. Do you really think Johnson didn't go into that fight looking for the big overhand right all night? Of course he did, Fury was just too well drilled to his game plan and executed it superbly.

Haye would likely find himself trailing well behind on points due to sticking to his usual on the back foot pot shotting style while Fury ranks up the points without over extending himself. Haye would have to go all out for it around that stage, (about rounds 9,10,11) can Peter Fury make sure his nephew sticks to the tight game plan then? He wins the fight if he does.

 

Fury is being dismissed due to the negative agenda towards him of some of the posters. Likewise with Haye.

 

This fight could go either way IMO with Haye being a slight fav.....but what happens if Haye loses surely that would mean retirement for him !

 

i cant see Furys chin holding up to Hayes power alot of the time Fury gets hit easily

 

Tyson Fury could definetley come again if he lost to David Haye, he's still young for a heavyweight. It would take him down a few pegs, thats for sure!!
I think Haye by knockout, as Fury's defense is very leaky. On the other hand, if Fury keeps his defense tight, the fight wears on & Haye hasnt got him out of there, Fury's size would come into play & Haye could be worn down, similar to Cunningham. Its an interesting matchup.
The most likely outcome is that Fury gets caught up in the huge hype surrounding the show, gameplan goes out the window as he's too concerned about trying to knock Haye out early & gets caught with big looping right hand. If Fury uses his brain & his size, he could win, but has he got a brain?? lol

 

The press conferences to this fight is going to be comedy gold

 

It depends how he's stopped, if he's stopped on his feet or puts up a decent fight in any way before losing it might turn out to be a good thing for him in the long run, might get him to tighten up his defence.

However I think there's a real possibility Haye will lay Fury out quickly and brutally, and if that's the case Fury might not ever recover. Even at only 23/24 or whatever age he is, if Haye goes in there and destroys him it could strip away his confidence for good.

 

Don't think it's the confidence within himself that would be a problem, but how could others follow him with any real belief were Haye to knock him out?

 

You do realise Haye falling over when tied up with Wlad was actually part of the game plan Booth came up with.

Both brothers like push there weight and lean on there opponents up close, tiring them out. Haye doing what he did stopped that - although it did look daft.

 

That isn't something Vitali is known for. he doesn't fight with the american style.

 

I was three rows back and I can tell you now to stop sniffing knickers.

The British fans were seething at Haye who was verbally abused by hundreds on his way back to the dressing room. The general view was that he was only interested in a final big pay day and shafted the thousands who travelled to Hamburg.

He spent the whole fight running away and not once did the British fans have anything to cheer.

He did not even mention the thousands of Brit fans in his post fight interview in the ring and big Wlad was full of class and he even thanked all the British fans who attended.

 

I'm sorry to be rude, but this is absolute nonsense. David is at heart a counter puncher, who doesn't really deal in combinations until his opponents are wobbled/visibly stunned. He largely deals in single shots. And with the exception of the Mormeck bout, he is an absolutely lousy finisher who generally smothers his own work. See the Enzo Mac, Barrett and Ruiz bouts for evidence of this. Chisora made the mistake of trading with David when on unsteady legs - had he tried to spoil he might've seen the next round.

 

Fury wont make it past 6

 

Yes he would, and probably still become a world champ!
