    Riiiight .. anyone can be hurt by any punch and lets be honest Dawson quit against ward he was not KOed.

    Funny dawson didn't have a glass jaw against Adamek , Johnson, Tarver, Pascal, Diaconu. All of these fighter have decent power all have connected on Dawson's chin and nothing happened.

    Im pretty sure Dawson was thinking that he has fought some of the best puncher at 175 and Stephenson's power is completely out of his league compared to other fighter he has faced.

    surprise surprise!! Dawson disrespect of Adonis's power is what got him KOed not his chin..
    I guarantee had Adonis hit Ward, Froch or even Kessler with that same punch clean they two would be on the canvas also.

    The classic "that punch would have KO'ed anynoe" excuse :dead.
    Dawson had also been down earlier in his career, but I am pretty sure that the draining from 75 to 68 has completely tarnished what already was a questionable chin.

    Riiiight tell that to Waldimir :-(

    Fighters like Adonis may or may not have a glass jaw but his offense is so deadly that you literally have to "bring ass to get ass" getting to these fighter chins is not a simple task, you may have to go through hell to touch it, and then run the risk of getting KOed in the process.

    The same Froch with the awkward style with both hand down at his side .. ?

    If froch fights Stephenson the same way he fought Kessler he will go the way of the dodo..:dead

    Well in that case Froch or Kessler should have fought him .. But there is a reason they didn't ..

    Let make another thing clear, if Kessler or Froch were to fight dawson before Adonis did they both would more then likely get their asses handed to them by dawson at Lt Heavy weight .

    In fact I will say Dawson will beat them both now

    Dawson got stretched on canvas due of 2 big mistakes : going down @ 168 and fight Ward (the drop in muscle mass diminished his stamina and his punch resistance, even when he jumped back at 175 categ.) and cuz he highly underestimated and overlooked Adonis power. His overconfidence braught him really deep down right now .

    troll, Dawson fought lots of top hard hitters and took very well their shots, so your moronic and ****ish theory that Dawson was a china-chined fighter doesn't stand up !

    prime Pascal
    Diaconu
    Tarver
    even Adamek
    Johnson

    all of these guys are heavyhanded fighters who landed good shots on Dawson's jaw !

    I think you are right. I remember some poster wrote once that when you are too dehydrated, the water around your brain goes away. When you get hit, your brain hits the skull and gets damaged. I don't know if that's true but it would explain why Ward was able to KO Dawson.

    That being said, Stevenson hit him flush on the ear but I think the old Dawson would have recovered from the KD.

    Carl Froch would shatter Adonis' glass jaw. I am not sure if Kessler would be able to at this stage, but a prime Kessler would indeed.

    Adamek and Tarver did pack a punch at LHW, but failed to deliver. Pascal was/is a decent hitter, and he also had Dawson holding on for dear life. Johnson and Diaconu weren't really that powerful punch wise.
    It is safe to say that Dawson has a glass jaw, I am the expert after all.

    sure sure, Froch is no fool and he is not as arrogant as Dawson, he knows damn well that Adonis is hitting with some real ****.

    Im curious how fight fans on this site can validate Lucas Matthysse as true KO artist, but not Adonis.

    Matthysse failed twice to KO to true elite fighter in Zab and Devon .. Yet Matthysse is the real deal . :huh

    People denying Stevenson's power are trolls. The ones who think he is a great boxer are stupid. The guy learned how to boxe in his 20s.

    Matthysse is a proven puncher with a beard made by wrought iron. Those 2 fights were some ordinary robberies ! Right now he'd stretch out Judah and Alexander in the same night cuz now Matthysse fights more aggressively and he's more focused 2 go for the kill !

    - dropped and beat Judah and Alexander but he got robbed.

    next is Garcia being K.O'd by Lucas ...

    the dude has massive K.O power and it seems that he rose his boxing skills but still he's not an 'A'. He's more of a B class fighter IMO. If he T/K.O's another top LHW in Pascal, Kovalev, Hopkins or even a top SMW like Ward or Froch then he can be considered a proven K.O puncher. :yep
