Indeed. I think he will be a World Champion. Eventually. With a few losses on his record. And when the likes of the K brothers have hung up their gloves. He'll be playing pass the belts around with other half decent heavyweights.
he gets the respect he deserves, he is in perhaps the weakest Era in HW (Boxing period), History... he is a GIANT, a S-HW, which the division has become, and there are only a handful of solid picks among them. fighters like Haye, good enough to beat these giants, can't get close enough... this is No reflection on their ability, it's 2 different divisions fighting one another, the Bigger guy 'usually' wins. No secret, No surprise, this is also No reflection on the giant's ability, in other words it doesn't make him any better beating the smaller man. and last but certainly not least Fury is woefully limited, he is just another fighter in ALL of the better Era's, not even a Fringe Contender, he is mediocre which again sadly points to the state of boxing. but I do wish him well, not a hater just an honest Boxing Fan/Researcher!.
This thread is priceless. There are other facts: Haye has a better record as an amateur, as a pro, as a heavyweight. Haye's best shot is what Fury is most susceptible to. Fury lost to McDermott. Haye beat a better Chisora better than Fury did. Fury has never been in a massive fight. Fury punches himself in the face.
I like Haye, but lets get real his two biggest fights and he lost them both, in fact well beaten in both
Fury can win if David Haye can't hit him (think Wlad fight). But... I think Haye will hit him right on the bonce at some point and close the show. I like both fighters actually and wish this fight was coming down the road a bit - I suppose the problem for Haye being he wants "the road" to be as short as possible with as much money on it. And why not.
:rofl Haye will have Fury out of there before the 6th round, but its a good laugh watching people hype him up and jump on the bandwagon I am sure there will be a lot more to come and it will make rather humorous reading.
