    I read somewhere that Garcia has two hours to lose the weight. Interesting that Garcia failed to make weight when JuanMa is the one who had been walking around heavy.

    What is reason?...


    I am assuming this is a way of him losing title and saving face so JuanMa can still save face and whatever is left of his career.


    If he leaves division JuanMa still has a future Mikey is pretty tall anyways...

    I am wondering if this was done intentionally?..

    If he doesn't make weight this means he is stripped??

    He gets stripped. I imagine he was probably going to move up regardless. Why go thru the trouble of losing the weight, weaken himself and possibly make himself vulnerable. COme in heavy, win the fight. Move up. That's the logic I imagine. I don't like it, but I understand the reason.

    It's pretty bad of him not to at least try and loose the weight; when fighters do that it makes it seem as if they planned this all along. How can you not know you are two pounds over weight.

    Dan Rafael just said, Top Rank confirmed that Garcia looses the Tittle, Juanma can win it, but Garcia can't.

    this is really sad!!! i think mickey is a really good kid but this was intentional...it sucks for juanma because he was the one with weight problems....either way...this is juanmas last fight at 126

    This sucks for Juanma since his next fight had been said to be at a 128 catch weight. Knowing what we do now, that would have been preferable.

    Top rank said Mikey came in at 128 and will not make the attempt to lose the extra 2 pounds but event will go on. Even if he wins, Mikey loses his title.

    this reeks Castillo/corrales 2 where everyone knew that jose never tried to make the cut.

    im hoping that people look to much into this and bet juanma.

    Crazy part is that Juanmas team wanted the fight at a catchweight of 128 and Garcia's team rejected it and now he comes in at 128....
