    Round 9

Narh is sending up sidearm backhanded lefts and line drive right crosses over Cruz's head, forcing him to duck and cover as he steps in with jabs intended to penetrate but abandoned with the valor of discretion. Big overhand right by Cruz, shaking Narh. Immediate rally by Narh, putting Cruz on the ropes with a long shoeshine. Low blow by Cruz, hurting Narh.

    10-9 Narh

    90-81 Narh

This is humiliating for Cruz. Narh had a 2-year layoff and is staging a clinic.

    Narh's activity dwarfs Cruz's by 690 to 374.

    Round 10

Narh is jabbing and circling left, then dropping his shoulder into Cruz and holding under his armpits. Cruz is bouncing in face-first, throwing wild erratic windmills up at Narh's head. Narh uses some quick crossover footwork to jump around Cruz while flurrying into his chest. Slaps over the guard by Narh, leaning in to smother Cruz in between. Cruz throws a slow left hook, missing as Narh casually steps back.

    10-9 Narh

    100-90 Narh

When I heard the 96-94, I was expecting another dubious decision, but good on them. They got it right.

"He was a little kid."

This wasn't great TV, and Cruz helped out with his epic failure of game plan - but tonight Narh did manage to at least begin to erase the stigma of his shameful quit-job against Mike Alvarado on the Pacquiao vs. Mosley PPV undercard, which prompted many to say "I hope to never see him in a ring again!" (sentiments he seemed for a while to be obliging)
