    Maraon already had round 3 in the bag even before he got Payano with that flash KD in the closing seconds.

    Bad cut on Payano, too...

    Parenthetically, the cut in corner of Payano's right eye that was from an accidental head clash but referee ruled it from a punch? The ancillary referee I think ruled by replay that the cut was from a head clash, however State of New Jersey rules do not allow for video replay, thus officially the cut stood as being from a punch. Payano's corner never really got it under control, but still it didn't seem to ever bother Payano.

    I like how Payano uses the jab, like a chisel, leaning his body weight into it even while fluttering it. (usually done more for "scarecrow" purposes than with any intent to bother an opponent) - and sets up all his combos off it.

    Really good FNF this week, managed to get 4 fights in, all with something to recommend them. I hope to see Vicente, Payano, and Douglas on FNF again soon, hopefully all against improved competition.
