I was hyping Bute indeed, but I really thought that he's the real deal at 168, knowing that he fought and beat more convincingly guys like Bika, Miranda, Brian McGee , Johnson and Andrade than his main rivals from 168 did ( Ward, Froch and Kessler ). :yep

There is no denying that Broner's skill is real. He comes to fight and the young man can rumble. Anybody can have a close fight but what he was then and what he is now is totally different. He is more in command of his skills now. He still doesn't know how good he is yet but when it all comes together he will achieve greatness. All those guys at 140 are young and they are not going anywhere. They will get their shot at Broner because circumstances will demand it and Broner will step up to the plate.

Paulie is going to be Broner's watershed mark.

Let's see how much of his power he keeps at 147. He's power was scary at 135. He is a very solid fighter and fun to watch. He has a somewhat similar style to James Toney, I like how he work on the inside. His proving grounds will be the fights at 140. I think that he is too small for 147. He looks smaller than Floyd who is not a huge WW. Combine that with the fact that he is used to fight smaller man I think that he will have problems at 147. At 140 he will have the size and the power to trouble any of the top dogs.

Broner wants nothing at 140! Why do you think he skipped that division?? He knows he gets whoop at that weight.

Maybe he doesn't want to fight there. Fact is that the top dogs were fighting each other at that time so he didn't have a dancing partner. If he keeps avoiding the division you are right. I don't believe he is scared personally. I think 'he believes his own hype'.

I don't get it. I watch Broner fight and I see an intelligent fighter who's pretty much the total package. How is he a bum? He's young, and he still has a lot to prove but his talent is quite obvious.

I'd rather wait and see how he improves as the years go than consider him a "bum" already. Surely the man has potential and desire.

Broner is gonna concuss malignaggi. Malignaggi should fight like he'll because he is a terrible announcer. Everything he says is wrong.

Maybe "bum" was a bit harsh however, he is massively overrated IMHO yes he had huge power at 135 and has decent combinations but he is flat footed his defense is average at best. He get's hit far to much and whenever he has come up against somebody who has decent whiskers he struggles PDL being the best example of that he lost that fight by 3 rounds people who say different are hugging nuts so tight they are drinking peanut oil.

I honestly think he will struggle against Paulie who was a B class fighter but may have slipped a bit in last year or so. I think Paulies movement and speed will be to much for Broner and Paulie will take the decision or get robbed (prob be the latter as Broner is teh new golden child) MOST OVERRATED YANK SINCE LACEY
