Agree on all 3. Can't remember circumstances on Bundrage-Powell, but in the other 2 cases the fighters had been going through a lot of **** outside of the ring, and were clearly not mentally prepared.

Props to Kovalev tho. He's one of my favourite fighters ATM, but tomorrows fight against White will probably tell us more than the Campillo fight did.

Also there may be cases where a fighter (the first Fighter to enter the Ring) has warmed up in the dressing room, only to be left to cool down by the inordinate delay in getting to the first bell, usually because the Home fighter, perceived star of the show, has to make a grand, time consuming entrance, whilst his opponent goes off the boil, Naseem Hamed was a great one for this, As i recall the Paul Ingle camp dictated a time Limit for Naz to complete his "Ëntrance Extravaganza" and if exceeded they would get back out of the ring and go back to the dressing room.

Jesse James Leija was completely dry in the ring against Oscar and it cost him desperately.

Jack Dempsey in the first Fireman Jim Flynn fight.

It looked like Seth Mitchell had failed to warm up properly for both the Witherspoon and the Banks fight. It's not entirely surprising, given his and his trainer's lack of experience. Someone should tell them they'll have an advantage if they come to the ring with a nice sweat built up.

Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Manny Pacquiao

Three knock downs in the first round cost him the fight in the scorecards.

    Rubio vs. Jantuah

  8. Saglam vs. Charr

Saglam wasn't really warmed up, couldn't breathe after two rounds and hurt his shoulder. He could win this fight and Charr did not hit him in the near of his injuried place.

Wouldn't really say that Hatton hadn't warmed up correctly before entering that one though... that was more of a case of leaving half of himself in the gym before fight night.

We all know the carry on he had in his preparations for that fight.

Campillo looked rather stiff against Kovalev.
