I think another reason, less important than how he looked at the weigh-in, to give Garcia the benefit of the doubt, is that there is ZERO financial incentive for him to move up, 130 and 135 are wastelands, the money is at 126. I almost feel sorry in this way for him if he has outgrown 126, it will now be a long time until his next significant fight.

I'm suprised this dose not happen more at the lighter weights. Most of these guys fight way below what their "natural weight" is.

Nothing is going to stop Juanma for taking a end of career beating.

it's pretty clear that Garcia has outgrown the division. He looks malnourished at the weight in. I don't think it was intentional on his part, but it was still unprofessional.

If he can't make 126 anymore, it's time to move up at 130/135 and stay there. He shouldn't be fighting smaller guys.

They didn't. He's just a bitchmade Garcia fan pointing fingers to other fighters instead of acknowledging that Mikey ****ed up..

If anything, they got a waaaay worst reaction than Mikey is getting. Which probably has alot to do with him being irrelevent as hell...

This is the second time a Robert Garcia trained fighter lost his title on the scales.Rios also lost his title against some bum Brit fighter.
Garcia is soo over rated as a trainer it's ridiculous.

Wow, I understand your frustrations, but does he really deserve all of that? He may be disrespectful and distastefully strategic, but he shouldn't die for it!

The fact that he comes from a boxing family, to me, almost makes this more understandable. To them, it's simply business, especially for many of the Garcias. Fewer people care about respecting the sport every year.

I agree it's bull**** and would LOVE to see karma come back around, but I don't think this fight is it. Let him move on and take the bigger ass beatings later on in his career.
