can't think of one KO, huh?

bottom line - hopkins can do whatever he damn well pleases
its impressive seeing hopkins defy the age barrier and he has nothing to prove to anyone

of course, but its not a coincidence that fighters like hopkins and floyd - who are excellent defensive fighters - minimize that risk

Hopkins is great at minimizing that risk, but he's diminished to the point where he can really only do that against certain styles. Look at the Dawson rematch and look at the issues he had with combinations and fluidity. The Calzaghe fight was another example.

Now, put in a more aggressive, harder hitting fighter who also possesses great combination punching and fluidity (as well as timing, accuracy, and angles) against an even older Hopkins. That's a dangerous fight for Hopkins- the most dangerous one at the weight.

If he can become a big name fighter I doubt it. Hopkins doesn't duck cats. But he only has a few more paydays left clearly and right now the likes of Stevenson, Froch, Kessler and Bute would give him a bigger payday.

At BHOP's age I think he has the right to choose his opponents. I will not call it ducking.
