Crazy how both of these guys fell so hard. Gamboa still has a slim chance, but Lopez is lucky if he doesn't end up ******ed. Amazing how that works in boxing.
Gamboa would've won that fight, he too would have been (or will still be at 130) destroyed by Garcia.
I said when that fight was **** hot that Gamboa would sparkle JuanMA. Bob really blew it there, it could've been a big bout which made Gamboa a big star, instead Gamboa is relatively unknown.
this thread is a joke lol...how is possible that a featherweight who jump to 135 pound division and comfortably defeated a previous undefeated hot prospect who is naturally much bigger and hard puncher is a bust?:think..not sure how you got that conclusion but look to me that you are a plain hater..true is that Gamboa is 23-0 16KO and never had a close fight even campaigning against bigger boxers...
Arum is the true bust when he didnt match Lopez against Gamboa. It was a fight the public wanted to see but never got. Gamboa is not a bust yet. There is still hope for this guy. He just needs to stay active.
It's pretty close. One guy has moved up in weight, hasn't looked great, but still hasn't lost. The other guy has gotten KO'd 3 times and seems on the verge of retirement. I don't know which way to vote.
If you thought Gamboa would be a p4p star by now and didnt think juanma was very good, then bamboa would be. It depends on your expectations.
Truth is that for some reason Gamboa hasnt lived up to his potential. Truth is he is getting old and hasnt look the same as a few years ago. Could be a bust as soon as he steps up
