I think this is a 60/40 fight. Canelo is explosive with underrated boxing skills. And he'll hvae a 20+ lb size advantage.

I'm not sure if Mayweather can actually perform like that anymore. Sure he would make the likes of Guerrero, who was inexperienced and had no chance anyway, look terrible but still even Guerrero managed to land sometimes. Alvarez will be there willing to give his all knowing he has a serious future ahead of him if he wins and he has an 0 to protect. Even if he loses I'll be shocked if he looks as bad as Ortiz and Guerrero.

I would still give Pacquiao a good chance right after Alvarez depending how he performs in his come-back. I would also give others at 154 a good chance but Mayweather won't stay at that weight win or lose against Alvarez.

Well prior to the fight being made, he would destroy Floyd. Now that the fight is signed, he has no chance and this is a typical PBF cherry pick. Canelo has no chance...

I don't think anyone, other than trolling inbred junk, would consider this fight a cherry pick. Canelo is young, has power, speed, solid chin and is coming off a win many(myself included) didn't expect him to overcome. Don't forget that he is also the WBC/WBA Junior Middleweight champion.

Compared to everyone else in the 140-154 range. I still think Trout has the best chance to beat Mayweather. I think Alvarez has the second best chance to beat Mayweather. I am including Top Rank boxers too.
Dose this mean Alvarez has a strong chance to beat Mayweather? No I don't think he dose. Than again no one really dose.

im still trying to figure out why people think canelito has all this "power."

of the three legit 154's that the 5'7" canelito has fought all three went twelve rounds.

    shot mosely 12 rounds
    b-level Rhodes 12 rounds
    trout 12 rounds

you want to see power at jmw then you would have to look up the resume of james Kirkland.

once you get past caneliots pink c-o-c-k I really don't see anything else that sets him apart from the other 154's.

in fact, once he loses on 9/14(I will esb ban bet anyone here that canelito is not beating Floyd as I know boxing as opposed to canelito nuthuggers) he will be made to look average against Molina, vanes, lara or Rosado regardless of what the gbp paid-off judges scorecards look like.

Finally someone who sees it like it is ...never thought Canelo had power, he hasn't ko'd any really 54 pounders and looked like crap against Trout ! 1st real top rated 54 pounder he's faced in his career

At 154 I would have liked Canelo chances, at 152 it's a fart fight. Canelo won't be at his best weight, he'll be weight drained and not hydrated.

Canelo is a good fighter who is getting better every fight and will be 20 pounds bigger. He has a great chance

I'd agree with that. Floyd is a deserved favourite, but I think Canelo is class. He has that relaxed style and good power. He can hurt Floyd if he lands cleanly. If I was betting, I'd pick Floyd by UD, but Canelo's hunger and talent give him a chance.

Cane-slow lacks conditioning and will be schooled easily if he gases out the way he did against Trout. Floyd by UD.

The only person who's been Gatti'd, is Gatti. Guerrero didnt get Gatti'd, neither did folks like Demarcus Corley or Judah. Why do you people think every fighter Floyd fights is Gatti?

I think Canelo has a chance. Most people think hes best attribute is power but i think it is his timing. He will hit floyd and make him cautious. i think his stamina will be the deciding factor however. Floyd wont slow down. Canelo will.

best chance out of anyone else atm imo

someone said it earlier, if khan had a decent chin he'd pose problems for anyone
