Will he finally be considered greater than Barrera and Morales or is he already there?

He's already greater, and by a considerable distance

No disrespect to them, but his name should be mentioned with the likes of Chavez, Sanchez and Lopez, not Barrera and Morales.

let's see....he knocked out the guy that bested both of them. they both avoided him back in the day...jmm is superior now. he doesn't have to beat bradley to be better.

How do you rate him then? Behind Chavez, Sanchez and Lopez or above them?

    Oh how quickly everyone forgets.

Morales' resume is insane, you all just forgot in favor of the more recent run.

    Erik Morales - 52-9/36 KO (3 stoppage losses) age 35 - 20 years - 61 fights

WBC super bantamweight title - 9 defenses + unified with WBO. vacates
WBC featherweight title - 2 defenses before losing,
    2nd run - 2 defenses. vacates
WBC super featherweight title - 1 defense, unifies with IBF before losing
WBC super lightweight title - loses in first defense

Noteable wins - Zaragoza, Barrera, Pacquiao, Jones, Kelley
Noteable losses - Pacquiao 2x, Barrera 2x, Maidana, Garcia 2x
FOTY candidates against Barrera 3x and Pacquiao
Controversies - Fails drugs test at 140

    Marco Antonio Barrera - 67-7/44 KO (1 stoppage loss) age 37 - 22 years - 75 fights

WBO Super Bantamweight title - 8 defenses before losing via DQ
    2nd run - 2 defenses before losing a unification
    3rd run - 2 defenses before vacating
    WBC Featherweight title - vacates
WBC Superfeatherweight title - unifies IBF but vacates, 4 defenses before losing

Noteable wins - Morales 2x, Hamed, Tapia, Kelley, Juarez
Noteable losses - Morales, Pacquiao 2x, Marquez, Khan, Jones
Controversies - Repeatedly fouled in fights

    Juan Manuel Marquez 55-6/40 KO (0 stoppage losses) age 39 - 20 years - 62 fights

IBF Super featherweight title - 4 Defenses, Unified with WBA (1 draw)
WBC Super featherweight title - 1 defense
    WBA/WBO Lightweight titles - 2 defenses. vacates
    WBO Super Lightweight title
    WBO Welterweight title - scheduled

Noteable wins - Barrera, Pacquiao, Casamayor, Medina, Salido, Juarez, Diaz 2x
Noteable Losses - Pacquiao 2x, Mayweather, John
Controversies - Scorecards vs Pacquiao 3

Marquez is older than both Morales and Barrera and despite not holding as many defenses has won titles in more divisions along with the fact he holds a better record over Pacquiao. Despite now being 39 is still active and still a p4p fighter whilst Barrera last fought in 2011 and Morales was knocked out in 2012

    Marquez > Morales/Barrera

He is Greater... he has been on the P#P top 5 list for years now, when he faced Floyd he was #2 for his amazing performance against Pac.. then after the pac vs Marquez III he was still rank top 5. and now at 40 years old after sending Pac to Plank time he is till top 5... so yeah Marquez is up there with the best mexican fighters of all time....
