It's a terrible business decision if this were to happen. I think Garcia is way too beatable for GBP to do something like that.

Its Garcia, Lucas has already made it obvious he's chasing Garcia. Said it in the post fight interview (I signed with Haymond because they promised me Garcia) then pointed at him after ko Peterson, has publicly been calling him out and saying he's scared..yet what has Garcia said?

As Garcia's dad I would also keep him away from Lucas after seeing how close Judah got to hurting Danny.

Putting these two guys in with no-hopers will do nothing to build the fight. Matthysse's last fight was already billed as being "the winner gets Garcia". He called out Garcia in the ring after a brutal KO, even pointed to him at ringside. You can't get any better than that to hype up a fight. The buzz surrounding Matthysse is at an all time high right now, they need to capitalize on it...now!

Putting these two in the ring with no hopers is just a waste of time and money. Both of thee guys are going to want to get paid no matter who they fight.

    It's now or never.

Eric Gomez has said this fight is about done. he is waiting on contact back from co-promoter in Argentina. He has stated that Garcia is fully on board and wants the fight.

I would say this fight is signed by Friday, so they can have more to talk about on Saturday's broadcast.

It'll never be a super fight. Winner might get one though.

Better make the fight now while both are injury free.

i actually see this as a super fight. they're not getting paid super fight money, but it's definitely a super fight.

Garcia is a straight up ***** if he avoids this fight. Then again, puerto ricans have been getting beat left and right lately. Maybe he doesn't want to be part of the trend?
