At the same time though it's hard to know what toll being in the actual fight takes from a fighter in comparison to the sparring. Especially one as heavily muscled as Chakh. Combine that with the point that the Wlod who turned up today is arguably better mentally than the one we've seen in his last 3 fights and there's a recipe for trouble (and that's without taking into account the possible broken nose Chakh looks to have suffered). Wlod weathered the storm and brought it back (which is rather unexpected considering his previously fragile mental state).

Either way i'm sure we can agree that it was a very entertaining fight whilst it lasted.

I saw him. He is good. But too robotic for me. Just throws normaö and "boring" combinations. Also I am not impressed with his speed. But he is a good fighter. Cant have everything.

My poll prediction was correct. I always hope for Wlod to land his big shots towards the end of the fight when his opponent is gassed. Same with Green..

No rematch necessary, Wlod won in Russia. Now he has bigger fights to accomplish since he's the champ...and he wants to move up to HEavy real soon.

I disagree. He has every punch in the book and routinely throws 4 and 5 punch combinations to the head and body with great variety. Nor is he slow with his hands or feet. Good defense, counter punching and power too.

I only saw one fight. And there he was not very impressiv. Mostly just jab-straight right hand combo nothing more. I think it was an UD against a fighter from Brazil. He was very hyped by some posters (like you) and I was not very impressed with him. And I really didnt saw exciting speed.

  8. Good fight. The knockdown of Wlodarczyk wasn't a real knockdown in my opinion. Good defense at punch. Chakhkiev was the more active fighter and his style impressed me. If he works on his stamina, he will become champ one day. Diablo was just too early in his career.

Wasn't Chakhkiev the boxer, who knocked Wilder twice down as amateur??

I saw him against Julio Cesar Dos Santos... only fight I saw and I was not very impressed by him. Especially because he fought a guy who did almost nothing.

The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was blah blah blah.

Very little to indicate that this was going to happen at the end of four. I love Diablo - I do think he is the toughest job imaginable for a green fighter, so I think Chakhkiev can come again.

But he should leave this guy the **** alone.

This is the only point where I disagree with you.

Diablo had a clear runway for the left hook any time he wanted it.

Yeah that was his most lackluster performance for sure. If you check out his fights against his 3 toughest opponents Ismailov, Abdoul and Herelius which was a Ko of the year canidate you'll view him more favourably.

Right now Rakhim has to fight some tune up fights. Learn how to fight in a proper pace. Work on your defense. Especially when trying to get inside. Hide the chin. It really dont seems that he is able to take a good punch. Most of the KDs didnt came after a great punch.

I was describing Kucher, not Chakhkiev.
