So, where do you rank "Diablo" Wodarczyk among current CW's?

I'm all for a Wlod-Huck fight to determine the CW #1, Hernandez has been riddled with injuries and hasn't fought in a long time, plus lastime out he needed a hometown edge to beat Troy Ross?

    who ya' got? :think

I have him at #3, but I don't think #2 is the worst thing in the world.

He beat a guy that I ranked #11 going in, that's not that special - he did what he was expected to do. It doesn't really enhance his standing that much IMO.

beating an up-and coming prospect in his hometown is quite an achievement though, regardless of how many flaws the prospect may or may not have :yep

I'm quite happy for Wlod, this fight opens up new opportunities, given that he's already 31 years old

I love the guy, but I just don't think they have the muscle to make the other guys fight them or the finances (or the willingness to part with that money) to pay them. I think he's a pragmatist, that boy.

wlodarczyk is gifted. he got a gift against palacios. he got a gift against robinson. he's a hometown fighter that will lose as soon as he stops hiding behind his promoters skirt.

    1. Huck
    2. YPH
    3. Wlod

But I wouldn't mind anyone holding "close decision/potential robberies" further against Huck and YPH than I do...

Clear cut top 3 here, same as it was going into the fight, in my opinion.

    You favored Wlodarczyk over Chakhkiev?

The division is a mess. Guillermo Jones would be a good bet against any of these top 3. Then there's Chambers. And Lebedev.

David Haye would have had a much more interesting career if he had stayed at cruiserweight and tried to beat all these guys.

I agree with everyone's rankings, but Yeesh - what a deeply flawed top 3. :nonono

Wlod - best power/chin/defense of them, but abysmal work rate most of the time, and his timing and trigger instincts when he does actually deign to let rip has been inconsistent lately, from night to night and even fluctuating within matches.

Huck - the most aggressive and gutsy of the lot but still very much a caveman. A caveman with some idea how to box now in contrast to his early days - but still a caveman.

Hernandez - the fastest, most skillful in the finer points of craft, and the most naturally athletic...but FFS, that chin - and he still has the bad habits that leave it vulnerable.

Fun division, but maybe the weakest p4p in all of boxing.

hometown fighter? You don't know much besides the Palacios fights (which I do admit the first won was a robbery) He doesn't like to fight in Poland- he claims he would happily travel for all his fights.
