Who thinks Seth Mitchell still has it now the hype trains gone

  1. He was never top class but I like Mitchell,he can bang and makes for good fights

Have enjoyed his last 3 fights,I think he has a lot of heart so you never know how far he could go
And golden boy have matched him much tougher than wilder and much quicker why is that

I'm hoping Mitchell wins by ko in a good even fight, anybody think Mitchell can still go to top 10 contender and maybe beyond

I was never high on him. I would be very surprised, regardless of the result, if it goes the distance.

Mitchell is one of those guys that is exciting, but has obvious flaws in his game that will prevent him from ever being top class. Basically like Jason Litzau. He could come back and stop Banks(though I imagine the outcome won't be changing) but it's very unlikely that he'll have fixed the core issues with his defense, and his chin is obviously not great.

He never had it and never will. Still could beat Banks though, first guy who lands will win this one.

He is a fun guy to watch and got beaten by one of the most skilled HWs in the game.

He drops bombs and gets hit by them. Not much more you can ask for in the current HW division.

This, when heavyweights land clean shots somebody is getting hurt.

He is fun to watch very heavy handed but also could get hurt easy.
We need more fighters like him @ HW

I think he will lose again vs Banks

What hype train are you all talking about?

Seth Mitchell had relatively little hype, if at all. I'm backing him to beat Banks this time out, and I hope he does because the division is in need of guys like him.

    :patsch

the division does not need more glass jawed brawlers like him....

  11. Seth Mitchell was hailed as Americas best chance of taking over from the klits
He was featured in every magazine going and got some exposure on big bills

    Seth Mitchell was heavily hyped

I like the guy, but he's now in the same league (or even slightly below) David Price.

Exciting fighter, heavyhanded, but not enough punch resistance or technical ability to make up for it to make it at the top level.
Fun part is, he is one of those guys who can beat almost every fighter at any given time because of his equalizer. And he isn't as wild as Wilder for instance.

I think he will beat Banks tonight, although I'll be rooting for Johnathon.

And for the people who still say he wasn't hyped... BULL! He sure as hell was hyped, even by me I have to admit.

Sorry I'm a purist, never liked football players / turn boxers. He's a entertaining guy
but he never deserved the hype HBO was beginning to shower him with. Hated how
they disrespected some other americans that deserved some shine with far more
upside. it is what it is

C'mon, man - glass jawed brawlers make for exciting fights!!:thumbsup You know SOMEBODY'S whiskers are gonna get shattered.

Me, I love these kinds of fights. I just wouldn't sit ringside with all those shards flying all over the place!

When it comes to the power the heavyweights generate how solid does ones jaw have to be to compete at top level? That's the excitement of heavyweights, someones going to sleep, if not by the 6rd these guys are tired and slowed down... no fun there.
